To celebrate the beginning of Socktober we're offering our fantastic beginner's sock pattern to download for free. If you've been putting off trying socks because you were worried that they're too difficult or you're scared of the pattern, now is the time to give them a go.
This pattern is simple and quick; perfect for that first pair of socks, or your 50th if you're a sock addict. The socks are knit from the toe up so that you can try them on as you go and knit on a circular needle so there's no juggling DPNs. The plain stocking stitch is great for showing off pattern sock yarns such as the Opal Rainforest XI or the gradients of the Zauberballs Go on, give it a try!
